Leslie & Peter, January 17, 2009 Bahamas

(For all of you reading this and living in Winnipeg, I figured we all need a little reminder of summer right now with our unfortunate return to winter.)

Three days after I came home from my destination wedding in Jamaica, I was lucky enough to have Leslie & Peter fly me to the Bahamas to photograph their beautiful wedding. With the kids in tow, I went back to the beach and photographed this lovely & generous couple for 2 days. The first day was the wedding day that was filled with tons of laughter, impeccable style & a little bit of wind. The second was a super fun trash the dress session – the images which I will post very soon too. 

A great big sincere thanks for Leslie & Pete for everything they’ve done for both my family and myself! I hope the images bring it all back & make you feel a little warmer during these chilly days.

These Manolo Blahniks are without a doubt the best shoes I’ve ever photographed. They also set the tone for Leslie’s high class style.

I love how happy Leslie’s Mom is waking down the aisle. She’s absolutely beaming.

Leslie & Peter were married in the only Greek church in the Bahamas.

I tried to set this up as a cover of a travel magazine & Leslie totally worked it.

The beach at their hotel became even more beautiful as night fell.

They had a fire eater come and perform for all their family and friends – and even got family members into the act too!
