It was clear to me how in love Jodi and Ryan are when I first photographed them for their engagement shoot, happy to enjoy each other in a candid fashion as I snapped away, capturing their true and natural connection.  It was a pleasure to reunite with them on their wedding day to once again capture this lovely couple.

Jodi and Ryan both work in the corrections world so of course someone suggested that I take a shot of them behind bars, we had some bars handy since we were in a playground and I think I managed to create a shot without the cheese.  For sure one of my favorite moments was at the very end of our shoot in the beautiful late day sun I caught Jodi on the path as she head back to the limo, and there were many other beautiful sun kissed shots, it’s such an amazing time to shoot. I wish more weddings sessions could happen at sunset. People probably don’t think about light when planning their wedding day, so remember magical light is a photographer’s best friend.
