What do you mean by my SHOP PAGE?

This is the dedicated page for your business within the virtual POP UP website. You can think of it like your virtual booth within the virtual market. On this page we will list your business name, display photos of your goods, your profile pic, as well as the write up about you & your business. It will also be a place where you can promote a launch of a new item, offer a promo code, that you offer free Shipping or free delivery/pick up or a specific item you’d like to feature. Each SHOP PAGE will have a button that says SHOP HERE. That button will link to your E-commerce site, website, Instagram, basically wherever you want to direct customers to shop your goods.

How will people be able to find me?

On the landing page there will be a drop down menu to find vendors. Visitors can find you by the A-Z alphabetical listing OR by the Category listing. The website will be design with a minimalist aesthetic & streamlined navigation.

Who supplies the content for this page?

There are 2 options.

Option 1 - We pull from your social media / website and design the basic SHOP PAGE. From there you can add anything extra to it, such as a promo, a featured product, Free Shipping, etc. You would select the YES PLEASE design my shop option on the form.

Option 2 - You complete the form as a vendor who will provide the content. (ie, don’t check that little ‘YES PLEASE’ box!) You will email or Dropbox us the images to use (5-10 photos), as well as a short write up, bio about your business. We would need this as soon as possible, as we would like everyone’s content by November 23rd so we can get to site construction!

Once you have the photos, etc …who puts the SHOP PAGE up?

We do! Once you send us the content we will build the SHOP PAGE for you to review.

Can I make changes or add to the SHOP PAGE once you design?

Yes. We will share the SHOP PAGE with you before the website launches. You can make any changes, corrections or additions up until November 29.

Is there a shopping cart on the website?

Nope. All purchases will be made directly on your own E-commerce site. Visitors will be directly linked from your SHOP PAGE to your online store. You can link to your website or you can link specifically to 1 particular item. It’s completely up to you! If you don’t have an E-commerce site for your business, we will connect the SHOP HERE button to your Instagram, or wherever you want to direct them.

How will people buy from me?

Each vendor’s SHOP PAGE will have a button that says SHOP HERE. This button links to your E-commerce site. You choose the link you’d want to add to this button.

What if I don’t have an E-commerce site like Shopify or Etsy, etc?

No worries! Your page will still have a SHOP HERE button. This button will then link to your Instagram or however you sell your goods. Even if they click on your SHOP HERE and simply ‘follow’ you, it’s a gain!

I’m worried that I don’t have enough stock to create my SHOP PAGE?

There are no expectations to be a fully stocked shop. This is a hybrid market/directory so yes, part of it is selling your goods & the other part is advertising your business. Unlike a real market where you’d be standing in your booth area with physical goods to sell, you are presenting your SHOP PAGE as a way to both sell AND to promote your business. If you want to offer pre-order once you sell out, then go for it!
