Fjara jewelry is all designed and handmade in Sarah Jonasson’s home studio by way of lost wax casting, organic casting and forging methods. She has a deep love for creating things by hand, and finds the whole process fulfilling.

I grew up in Gimli, a place that imprinted upon me greatly. Growing up by the beach, and living in a town with the highest percentage population of Icelandic people outside of Iceland... Somehow both have become wrapped into my jewelry brand Fjara.... An Icelandic word that means tides, beach, ebb and flow.
