Just Be Soap has been crafting luxurious, small-batch handmade soap, herbal salves, moisturizers, and aromatherapy creations in Winnipeg for over 15 years.
Always made with high-quality essential oils and nutrient-rich plant oils, Just Be Soap uses locally-sourced ingredients such as garden-grown flowers and Manitoba-produced beeswax and honey.
I've had an affinity for natural beauty products for as long as I can remember. My creative path began in 2005 on a road trip to the mountains in Idaho when my cousin introduced me to her beautiful box of essential oils. I loved how opening each bottle of oil immediately transported me to another place and time, and each scent was linked to an emotional response. It was magical! She invited me to create a personal blend, and I have never looked back. Immediately upon our return home I began collecting essential oils and learning about their uses and therapeutic properties.

Making soap was the natural next step. In the fall of 2006, a few friends and I took it upon ourselves to dive right in. There were MANY “oops" moments, but when a slick bar of aromatic soap slipped out of the mold, I was instantly rewarded with feelings of accomplishment and the desire to share my creations with the world. Over time my recipes have evolved, expanded, and now, 15 years later, I continue to make natural soap and personal care products for all to enjoy.
