HOW TO SHOP
HOW DO I SHOP ON LUCKYGIRL.CA?
Imagine like you are attending one of our POP UP’s in the Exchange District. You can think of the website like a big building space where 100+ vendors have come to set up their booths & are displaying their goods. We have created SHOP PAGES for each of our vendors, and within there’s a photo sampling of said goods. As you peruse their shop pictures, if you’d like to buy or see more, there’s a button at the very bottom that says SHOP HERE. Click on this button and you will be taken directly to that vendors existing online shop in a new window. Once you’ve viewed (and hopefully purchased!) you can close that window, and move to the next maker’s shop page. Et cetera! And that’s basically how you shop a virtual POP UP.
WHERE DO I START?
Good question as there are 100+ vendors and our brains all work in different ways. Some of you will surf through as you would our real life pops and simply go from vendor to vendor. Some of you may be more methodical and want to make sure you see everyone’s shops. And some of you may be looking for a specific vendor and want to be able to find them quickly & easily.
So, we have listed in our navigation bar these 2 ways of shopping virtually;
1) MAKER GUIDE - is a photo gallery grid that displays all vendors by category in a diverse way. Much like when you walk through the doors of our POP UP, you can walk along the aisles and shop all different kinds of goods. Click on the image or the title & you will be taken to that SHOP PAGE.
2) SHOP BY CATEGORY - is a menu where you can choose the category of goods you’d like to shop. From jewelry to ceramics, or art prints to home goods and so on. There’s a listing of every category. Once you click a category you will see all the vendors who fall under that category. Click on the vendor’s image or the title & you will be taken to that SHOP PAGE.
HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE?
By clicking on the SHOP HERE button you will be directed onto that vendor’s online store. Most vendors have a pre-existing E-commerce online shop in which you can make a purchase and select your delivery/shipping option. Payment is made through their online shop. Some vendors don’t have an official online shop per se, so you will be directly to their Instagram profile. Through direct messaging on IG you can make your purchase & payment arrangements.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PURCHASE?
Each vendor will provide their own delivery, pick-up or shipping directions via their online shop or IG messaging.
WHO DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY ORDER?
You contact the vendor directly.
CAN ITEMS BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED?
You would communicate directly with the vendor from whom you purchased the items, as with 100+ vendors there are a variety of individual policies regarding returns or exchanges.
IS THERE A SHOPPING CART ON THE LUCKYGIRL SITE?
No, this site is a directory that connects you to all the vendors online shops.
