Being in the yoga industry for 19+ years I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for dealing with physical and emotional stress that can accumulate in our daily lives.
It’s through my lived experiences of being a mother and yoga teacher that mamahive yoga was conceived. Having taught yoga to many pregnant women over the years I have witnessed not only the joys but also the huge amount of stress and anxiety that comes with being pregnant. Being a postpartum doula as well, I also saw the need for grounded, gentle and restorative practices, both in yoga and meditation. This is a very specific time in a woman’s life where specific support is needed. So over the past year I went about creating my online yoga+wellness program and product line for pregnant and early postpartum mamas.

I am fortunate to collaborate with my sister Shelagh Lenon who owns 1912 Aromatherapy. Sister energy is the best! We worked together to create a beautiful line of balms for mamahive yoga. During the creation phase we were very clear that we didn’t want to compromise the quality of the product. The balms have been crafted with the most luxurious ingredients. Made specifically for pregnant mamas and their posse. Amazing right?! You can find them in my shop plus more treats like vintage baby clothes!
I have an obsession with anything vintage, so I‘ve included a small collection to my shop. MANY years ago I used to dress my baby in vintage and it has always been something that I’ve adored...maybe someone else out there will enjoy these little treasures too.
